Planets and Boxing



Myra and Fortuna taught the students about two important subjects, The Order of the Planets and the Art of Boxing. Mayra created a song accompanied by alternating hand clapping and drumming on the tables. Fortuna put on her boxing gloves and not only gave the class a demonstration of jabs and uppercuts, but also allowed students to practice.

Passion: Panama, Italy and the Spanish Language

Today, a trio of women taught us three lessons. Ana taught very interesting ideas about Spanish, her native language; Isabella introduced us to the details of the historic Panama Canal, located in her country, and Lucy shared with us how proud she is to be an Italian and everything about it, from geography, to monuments, to food and art. Montage Art: Integrating Other Subjects

Montage Art is the  process of making a composite picture by bringing together into a single composition a number of different pictures or parts of pictures and arranging these, as by superimposing one on another, so that they form a blended whole while remaining distinct. Our class has use montage art to create lessons on other subjects such as: Health, Dance, and Social Studies.
